Arusha National Park

This lovely park has been dubbed a "little germ" by many, and deservedly so. Arusha town, the safari capital of Northern Tanzania, is only 12 hours away via paved road. It provides a fantastic sense of serenity and seclusion, with mountains, valleys, lakes, and little plains coated in green. Mount Meru, Africa's fifth highest free-standing mountain at 4,566 meters (14,980 feet), dominates the landscape.

This Tanzanian peak, the country's second highest, provides a spectacular experience and serves as an acclimatization refuge before ascending Mount Kilimanjaro.

The Park is open all year; however, the ideal months to visit are June to September and December to early March. From October to November, there is a short rainy season, and from March to May, there is a heavy wet season, with yearly average rainfall ranging from..... to..... mm. The park is situated between 1,700 and 4566 meters above sea level.
The Park can be accessed by road or air.

By Road: From Arusha town to Ngongongare gate, it is about 32 km.

By Air: It is about 40 km from Kilimanjaro International Airport.

The Park is home to a diverse range of attractions, including wildlife in the wild, craters, and mountain summits.
